Displacement Filling Machines
Displacement
filling machines are used to fill bottles with liquids. They are volumetric liquid
filling systems. They are considered to be the most accurate mechanism for liquid
filling. This pump fill method is a simple and accurate method for free flowing
as well as viscous liquids. Lumpy fluids can also be managed with these. These
machines are used in pharmaceutical, dairy, chemical cosmetic and food packaging
industries. Special nozzles are attached to prevent liquid drips and foam. PD
fillers have a pump head for each filling head. The fill volumes and the container
sizes are generally adjustable.
In
the manual models the bottles are moved manually beneath the fill heads and slid
on to the next head. The rail slide tracks are generally flexible to adjust to
different shapes of bottles. In
the automatic PD filling machines all, the form, fill and seal units are automatically
managed. They are the precision filling machines suitable for a variety of products
and different shapes and sizes of the containers. They have spill resist mechanisms
where if the nozzle does not find the bottle opening it automatically rises out.
