There are fill level inspection systems based on radio frequency fill detection. This process immediately identifies under fill and overfills conditions. They are preferred for glass or plastic bottles and the radio sensors can be adjusted for the container material.

The electromagnetic fill level inspection machines saves one from the use of X-ray related issues. It can be used for both glass and plastic bottles. It is more economical than the other two processes.
