Hot Filling Machines
Hot
filling is the conventional technology for filling fruit juices, jams and soups
and beverages. The technology is suitable for filling glass jars and bottles and
paperboard cartons. Contact parts are stainless steel. Filling volumes are adjustable.
They have filling nozzles for pumps and a control panel. Conveyers have the cooling
mechanisms attached.
Heat
insulation and monitoring, water sprays to prevent sugar build up, and cooling
are mandatory features for any hot filling machine. Filling is done at a minimum
of 82ºC to sterilize the packaging material and the product. It
is also common for filling lip balms, lipsticks, glue sticks inks etc. They are
the products that have to be filled in narrow containers, are solid when used
and have to be filled in liquid form.
