Powder Filling Machines
 Most
of the powder filling machines are volume filling machines. They comprise of the
90% share of the powder filling machines. Rest 10% is vacuum filling machine,
cup filling machines and gravity filling machines. Vertical auger filling machines
are the most common types.
The
working of the machine is quite simple. There is a hopper that contains the powder,
a vertical rotating screw in the hopper, funnel, auger drive and agitator blade.
They may be rotary machines where the powder is dosed through the auger fillers
into the funnel. The funnel and the container rotate for even progressive filling.
Other
options of powder filling machines can be volumetric cup filling, weigh metric
filling.
