Shrink Wrapping Machines

It is a comparatively new technology. A shrink film is wrapped around the product and kept on the conveyer and the film is shrunk by applying hot air or by passing through the shrink tunnel. The process is controlled by pyrometer to give the product a tamper proof over wrap. Shrink-wrap can be done on individual product as well as stacks. The process is suitable for wrapping pesticides and pesticide bottles, dry cells, cans, adhesive tapes brassware, pharmaceuticals etc.

A chamber shrink-wrap machine is an ideal solution for low volume packaging requirements. The machine is portable and easy to store and can handle large size products. It is easy to operate.

Semi-automatic shrink wrappers are integrated units with mesh belt or rotating roller conveyors and shrink equipment. The wrapping machine is provided with a control panel to adjust the sealing and cooling time. Needle perforators, waste film containers, sealing head clamp are a part of the machine. The product is automatically transferred to the shrink tunnel after being wrapped. The film can be adjusted as per the size and shape of the product. This adjustment enhances the speed. The shrink tunnel conveyer may have adjustable speeds.

In the automatic shrink wrappers the whole process right from feeding, wrapping and shrinking is automatic. Various adjustment options are available on the control panel.

The shrinking equipment can be a shrink tunnel, shrink oven, shrink frame, hot gun or a dip tank.
