Twist Wrapping Machines

A twist-wrapping machine seals the open ends of the wrap by twisting them. These machines can carryout the twist wrapping function in various forms like single twist and double twist machines and one end twist machines.

In the candy twist wrapping machine, the candies are added to the hopper from where they are released on to the rotary format by a vibrator. The paper comes from a paper feed cut into the appropriate size. The candy is lifted along with the wrapper by a gripper and twist closed.

These machines have an easy changeover option from one type of folding or twisting to another. There are certain machines that use two wrapping materials like a foil strip inside and cellophane outside. This type of folding and twisting machine is frequently used in the confectionery wrapping including toffees, chocolates and breads etc.

They have options like front folding or back folding and One can choose the type of twisting machine based on the shape of the product e.g. a flat bottom object may be wrapped in bottom folded and one side twisting and so on.
