Weigh Filling Machines

The weigh filling machines come under the gravimetric filling systems. This system is required generally for powders, liquids and semi solids that have to be sold by weight but filled by volume. They are basically of two type namely net weight filling machines and Gross weigh filling machines.

Net weigh fillers measure out the required mass of the free flowing solids before filling it. The gross weigh filler fills the required mass directly into the packaging line. It is suitable for filling any type of product whether solids, liquids, gases or powders.

The machine could have single or multiple filling heads. Contact parts are prefered stainless steel but can be of brass or titanium to suit the chemical properties of the product. The machines are designed to fill different container sizes and shapes. Different nozzles are provided to suit different products.

They may be installed with the digital scales. Sub surface filling mechanism can also be incorporated for the foaming liquids. For hazardous locations or filling products, explosion resistant models should be preferred.
